Featured Speaker: 

Austin Fingar (Farm Manager, Red Jacket Orchards) is a 2016 Penn Yan Academy graduate and a 2020 Cornell University graduate with a degree in Agricultural Science and Business Management. A fourth-generation grape farmer on Bluff Point, he serves as Farm Manager at Red Jacket Orchards in Geneva, overseeing 400 acres of fruit crops and a team of 40 employees. Austin also serves as Director and Secretary of the Yates County Farm Bureau Board and operates his own beef cattle farm. His presentation, “Yates County Agriculture”, will highlight local grape production, market trends, and conservation practices, with comparisons between Yates County and statewide agriculture.
