Reporting to Cornell Public Safety

To report an incident at a location that falls under Cornell University’s jurisdiction:

• Cell Phone – Call any time at 607.255.1111.

• Blue Light Phone – Pick up any Blue Light phone on campus to speak directly with a public safety telecommunications officer.

• RAVE Guardian – Download the app on your phone to start a text chat or place a call with public safety.

• Email – Send an email to cu_police@cornell.edu.

• In-Person Visit – Stop by our office located at Barton Hall, 117 Statler Dr. (in the basement on the west end of the building, across from the Statler Hotel).

Reporting to Other Agencies

For incidents that fall outside of Cornell University’s jurisdiction, please dial 911 to reach the Tompkins County 911 center. They will take your information and send the proper police agency to respond.
