The course has been approved by NYS DEC for 3.0 Core continuing education Credits.   The $10 per person fee for the training includes lunch.  The course will be taught by Cornell Cooperative Extension Educators Dale Dewing and Paul Cerosaletti and NYC DEC pesticide control specialist Sarah Whelan and is designed to prepare individuals to take DEC exams to become a certified private pesticide applicator.  

The course also will serve as a refresher for those already certified on basic pesticide safety and handling, the certification and recertification requirements and process, and NYS Pesticide applicators laws.   3.0 CORE DEC Credits will be available.
