4-H SPIN: The Case of the Contaminated Creek Series

Something suspicious has happened at Crystal Creek… and it’s up to 4-H’ers to solve the case! This hands-on, science-based program combines environmental studies with forensic investigation in a fun and interactive way. 4-H'ers will analyze macroinvertebrate species, hair samples, glass samples, lip prints, DNA data and other assorted clues as they try to deduce the mysteries surrounding the case of Crystal Creek.

Dates: October 15, 22, & 29, and November 5 & 12

Time: 6-7:30 PM

Each night, 4-H'ers will investigate a different aspect of the case so attendance at all 5 nights is strongly encouraged.

Participants must be at least 12 years of age.

The cost to register is $25 if you have already enrolled in the 2025-26 4-H year. If you have not enrolled in the 2025-26 year, cost is $50 (covers event registration and 4-H enrollment fee). You will be automatically directed to our PayPal page for payment after completing registration. Please complete the 4-H enrollment form located here and email to crh248@cornell.edu.
