Office of Emergency Management emergency preparedness activities are designed to prepare individuals, the university emergency response community, and university academic, business, and operational units for emergencies and crises.

Preparedness activities include developing, testing, and exercising emergency plans and procedures, procuring emergency supplies and equipment, and improving emergency skills and ability by conducting and attending training.
