On Monday, April 8, Ithaca will experience a partial eclipse and Geneva a full eclipse between 3 to 4 p.m., a cosmic event that will not happen here again until 2044. If you have a chance to see it, be sure to always wear certified solar viewing glasses or use a safe handheld solar viewer while watching the eclipse. Sunglasses are not enough to protect your eyes.
