Connect with Us

January 26, 2024

Building relationships with our community is a priority for all of us in Public Safety. We enjoy the connections we make each day, and we’re here to help. The Community Response Team (CRT) can assist all students, faculty and staff on Cornell property with a wide range of situations, from stressors related to academics to mental and behavioral health crises. CRT is available from 3 p.m. to 1 a.m., Thursday through Monday, in Appel Commons, room 103, and at 607-253-2100 (in the event of a crisis or emergency that needs immediate assistance, call 911 or the Public Safety Communications Center at 607-255-1111). In addition, Cornell Police have a dedicated team with an excellent variety of educational community engagement programs tailored to student organizations or work teams, including their casual Ask a Cop program and formal training on how to respond to an active threat or workplace violence on campus. Connect with one of our community engagement officers to book a session.
