Community Response Team
The Community Response Team (CRT), newly established within the Division of Public Safety, is a law enforcement alternative available to assist Cornell students, faculty and staff during a crisis. The CRT works in partnership with other public safety teams, Student and Campus Life, Housing and Residential Life, Counseling and Psychological Services and other resources. The CRT is staffed from 3 p.m. to 1 a.m., Thursday through Monday, in Appel Commons room 103 and is available at 607-253-2100. In the event of a crisis or emergency that needs immediate assistance, call 911 or the Public Safety Communications Center at 607-255-1111, using a Blue Light phone, or through Rave Guardian so that the appropriate team — CRT, Cornell Police or Cornell Emergency Medical Services — can be dispatched.
