Angaleen Trentanelli
Director of Community Response Team
Angaleen is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC). She has more than 10 years of experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illnesses, survivors of sexual assault, juvenile and adult sexual offenders, perpetrators and survivors of domestic violence, and individuals with substance use issues. As the Director of the Community Response Team (CRT), Angaleen leverages her vast clinical experience to guide the team in delivering effective, trauma-informed care. Angaleen established CRT as a new department within the Division of Public Safety and provides strategic leadership for its continuous development as a successful alternative mobile crisis support team. Angaleen graduated from Susquehanna University, earning a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Religion, and earned her MSEd/CAS in Mental Health Counseling from Alfred University.
Brittanie Earle
Community Response Team Supervisor
Brittanie has over 15 years of experience in community mentoring and crisis management, providing crisis intervention, assessment, and stabilization for children, adolescents, and young adults. Her work extends to foster children and juvenile offenders facing mental health challenges, distressing events, and legal issues. Brittanie’s experience spans a variety of environments, including group homes, schools, community settings, correctional facilities, and residential treatment centers. In her role as the Community Response Team Supervisor, she oversees the work of the Coordinators, provides backup coverage, responds to critical incidents, and assists with the continuous development of the team. Brittanie graduated magna cum laude from Cornell University, earning a B.S. in Development Sociology with double minors in Inequality Studies and Law.
Jennifer Taylor
Community Response Team Coordinator
Jennifer has a diverse background spanning over 15 years in victim advocacy, law enforcement, and mental health support, bringing a wealth of experience to the team. During her 7 years in law enforcement, Jennifer served in various capacities, including as a Patrol Corporal: Community Outreach Liaison with the University of South Carolina. In this role, she helped foster connections between law enforcement and the campus community. As an officer, she was also recognized for her life-saving efforts, receiving the Police Commendation: Life Saver Award. Jennifer has more than 5 years of experience in the higher education sector focusing on victim advocacy for college students. Additionally, she served as the Direct Services Coordinator for the University of South Carolina Psychological Services Center, where she facilitated critical support for students in need. Jennifer graduated summa cum laude from Old Dominion University, earning a B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Human Services.
Kristina Petrella
Community Response Team Coordinator
Kristina has 20 years of experience as an American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter, working in a wide range of diverse settings, including higher education, the Department of Defense, NASA, and various mental health facilities. Her extensive background includes interpreting in Mental Health Outpatient and Inpatient facilities, Behavioral Health Units, and OPWDD facilities for intensive treatment. Additionally, they have experience in locked treatment programs for sex offenders with co-morbid intellectual disabilities and mental illnesses. In addition to her interpreting expertise, Kristina was a former Child Protective Services (CPS) Investigator and Forensic Interviewer. Kristina graduated magna cum laude from SUNY Cortland, earning a B.A. in Psychology with double minors in Forensic Psychology and Women & Gender Studies, and earned an M.S. in Community Health from the same institution.
Stacey McCall
Community Response Team Coordinator
Stacey has an extensive background in providing mental health support. She has over 14 years of experience assessing mental health needs in inpatient psychiatric units, and also brings experience in child protective services and care management for children with mental health issues and intellectual disabilities. Furthermore, Stacey has a background in crisis response and management as a case manager for Mobile Crisis Response in Cortland County where she has worked for the past three years and still contributes on a per diem basis. Stacey has a deep understanding of the complexities of mental health challenges. Stacey graduated from SUNY Cortland, earning a B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Psychology, and is on track to complete her Master of Social Work (MSW) at SUNY Binghamton in December 2024.
